Paul is the founder of PGH and has extensive international management experience in finance, risk management and international services. He is a Norwegian citizen. He has founded and headed successful multi-national, high-tech and service companies. Paul received his PhD from MIT's Sloan School of Management.

Donald A. Hoyt
Executive Vice President

Don is responsible for underwriting, claim administration, business development and the maintenance of the PGH insurers’ reinsurance agreements. His 20 years experience in the reinsurance industry spans analytical and underwriting roles for both primary carriers and reinsurers. Don received his undergraduate degree in management from the University of Massachusetts and his graduate degree in finance from Boston College.

Steven M. Knott, CPA
Chief Financial Officer

Steve has more than 20 years experience in financial management, reporting and consulting having spent 15 years in public accounting, providing auditing, tax, computer and financial consulting services. Previously, he was assistant vice-president of financial services for Oasis Healthcare. Steve has an undergraduate degree from Northeastern University and a graduate degree in Computer Science from Bentley College.

Andrew Sokolov, MS, RN
Global Director of Care Management Services

Bringing a background rich with experience in the healthcare sector along with multi-cultural values to PGH, Andrew drives the Care Management Team in competently attending to all aspects of PGH member care. A graduate of Moscow Medical Institute and Northeastern University in Boston, he has gained over eighteen years’ experience managing all aspects of medical services operations including regulatory, personnel, insurance, communications and training. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Executives and the American Nurses Association, and incorporates his medical knowledge into his quest for producing optimal patient care. Andrew's exemplary practices in patient care services have notably influenced interest in PGH through testimony of patients who reach full recovery after being diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.
